After a successful Christmas Pop-up shop we opened our gallery full time in March 2026.
Many will remember the shop either selling electricals or for many years housing the local bakery. Now converted to a light and airy space selling a wide range of affordable arts, crafts and gifts, many locally made in Whithorn. Custom orders taken.

Lancashire-born Fran is rarely found without a knitting needle, lino-cutting tool or sewing kit close at hand. Her passion for making is woven into everything she creates, with inspiration drawn from the character of local landmarks and the natural charm of the Wigtownshire coast.
And just when you think things are getting a little too serious, Fran’s playful side shines through in her talent for creating charming little characters and wonderfully whimsical pieces. From fluffy Highland cow brooches to cheerful beachcombing bobble hats, there’s always something in her repertoire to make you smile and keep you warm.

With four decades of experience in graphic design, Caroline found a new chapter of creativity when she moved from her native Midlands to Whithorn in 2014. Surrounded by the ever-changing seascape, she discovered a boundless source of inspiration to complement her skills in art, illustration and design.
A proud owner of one of the first Apple computers in the UK back in 1984, Caroline has embraced digital creativity ever since. Today, her expertise, imagination and love of the local landscape come together in a collection of pro-tastic artworks, prints and canvases, blending traditional artistic skills with a distinctly digital touch.
